The Wasp Woman (1960) 3/5 (1)

The Wasp Woman (1960) is a science fiction horror film directed by Roger Corman. The story follows Janice Starlin (Susan Cabot), a successful cosmetics company owner who undergoes a controversial experiment to regain her youth. Using a serum derived from wasp enzymes, she transforms into a monstrous, wasp-like creature. As her transformation becomes increasingly uncontrollable, she begins to commit violent murders. The film explores themes of vanity, science gone wrong, and the consequences of unethical experimentation, typical of Corman’s low-budget, creature-feature style.
