City of the Dead (released as Horror Hotel in the U.S., 1960) is a gothic horror film directed by John Llewellyn Moxey. The story follows a college student, Nan Barlow (Venetia Stevenson), who travels to the eerie town of Whitewood to research witchcraft for her thesis. She checks into a mysterious inn, only to uncover a sinister cult practicing ancient rituals linked to the town’s dark history.
